On the 15th October we had a visit from the Active Learning Company who came to teach us all about Early Man and living in the Stone Age. This has been our topic this term and it was great to have lots of fun activities to do about the things we had learnt. We were able to have a look at all the tools used in the Stone Age and try to name them using only the clues we were given! We also learnt skills that were used in early times such as loom weaving, building fences and grinding wheat with stones for flour. The flour was then used to make a bread cake which we learnt how to cook using fire and stones! We also got to dress up as a person from the Stone Age which was really fun. We had a brilliant day and learnt a lot about our topic!
