Our Year 8 Book Review Winners!

Year Eight pupils produced informative, creative and enticing book reviews for the "Take A Leaf Out Of My Book" competition which took place after the Readathon week. The winner in each class will receive a novel from a selection donated to the school by Tanja Jennings, the Northern Ireland representative on the Greenaway judging panel.

NEW READING IDEAS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FOR THE EASTER HOLIDAYS

The CILIP Carnegie and Greenaway Medals are awarded each year by a panel of twelve librarians who recognise outstanding children’s literature titles. All categories of books, including poetry, non-fiction and graphic novels for children and young people are eligible. The shortlists have been announced and the winners will be announced in June.
