Year 11 Pupil Success in Mathematics Competition

In February, eighty of our Key Stage 4 pupils entered the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge.  Our three top students in this (James McNinch, Paige Irvine and Tom Myles, all Year 11 ) were then invited to take part in a further mathematics competition called the Pink Kangaroo.  As a result of his score in this, James McNinch has been invited to a Mathematics summer school in August at the University of Oxford .  Our congratulations and best wishes to James.
